Two things that would have led to PlayStation 4 edition having sold more copies:
1) The PlayStation 4 has a larger install base.
2) The PlayStation 4 and XB one version cost the same. But the PS4 version runs at 1080p 60fps and the XB one version at 720p 60fps. If XB one is the only console you own then you take what you can get (and you'd experience the same game world), but if you own both new-gen systems you would obviously get the best looking version...

Although Halo 4 didnt quite match the quality of the Bungie games it was well received. Come the launch of Halo 5 there will be a tremendous amount of excitement for it. The only problem being that the first new Halo game for the platform will arrive Two years after the Xbone console launched. I have no doubt it will shift many more console units, but come Autumn 2015 IF Microsoft is not market leader then I doubt this one title will be a game-changer.

Hokey-moley that's a surprising statistic. Microsoft like to show a confident face to the public when it comes to the Xbox, but part of that is PR. These numbers paint a different story that the marketplace is currently more challenging.

I'd like to see a console version of Flight Simulator. It would be great to play a new flight game that is not about combat, just the joy of flying. And with the power of Xbone graphics I wouldn't have to worry about if my PC can run it and I can imagine all the landscapes would look beautiful.
My mate who has an Xbone but no PS4 was worried he wouldn't be able to play this, but he does have a powerful PC. So if he doesn't buy a PS4 he knows he will definitely be able to play this.

Microsoft should not rush to release a me-too VR device.
They SHOULD develop the technology in secret and the games to go with it but WAIT & WATCH as the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus are launched. No matter how good those devices are, at first, they will be a niche product. All the while Microsoft should refine their VR product. Then in 2018 they should release the new powerful Xbox, as well as a Kinect VR headset that can display all games in 1080p 60fps to both eyes...

The writer, trying to illustrate the value of Gold in comparison to EA Access. He assumes that each person will buy 48 x $10 Deals with Gold games in a year! Rather than including possible purchases of discount games I would stick to comparing what has been declared as definitely being included in both Xbox Live Gold and EA Access.
I've got no problem with a remake, I'm currently enjoying TLOU Remastered. But for me Autumn & Christmas means a lot of games coming out and I have limited time and a limited budget. There's more game to choose from. So if Sleeping Dogs was released in July or August there would have been so much less competition and it could have sold a lot more.
